Rates & Fees

The Art of Healing is not in-network with any insurance plans and does not accept insurance as payment. We are an out-of-network provider that offers superbills for insurance reimbursement.

Rates for all services are below. The Art of Healing believes healing should be accessible to everyone and offers sliding scale options for anyone needing support. Our sliding scale options are offered on a trust-based model, where we ask you to reflect on your financial capacity and choose a rate within the ranges listed that is both manageable for you and honest about your current circumstances.

If your financial capacity changes at any point in your work with your therapist, please let your therapist know to discuss a fee adjustment.

 If you are a Black or Brown queer, trans/non-binary, or two-spirit person seeking ongoing support following receiving care at Rooted Together, we will make every effort to work with you at a rate within your means. 

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total Intensive fee is required to reserve a timeslot. The remainder of the payment is due 1 week before the scheduled Intensive. 

Cancellation Policy

• There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for all sessions up to 90 minutes in length. 
• The cancellation policy for 2-3 hour Intensives is 4 days.
• The cancellation policy for 4-6 hour Intensives is 7 days.
• If rescheduling an Intensive, the non-refundable deposit may be applied to a new date as long as the above advance notice is given.

Payment of each coaching session is due at time of booking.

Out-of-Network Insurance

If you have out-of-network benefits, your therapy services may be covered for reimbursement. (Please note: Somatic Life Coaching services are not covered by out-of-network insurance so superbills are not provided for these services.) You are welcome to reach out to your insurance company to verify out-of-network coverage and reimbursement rate. You may need to provide them your therapist’s credentials (LCSW), the CPT code (90834 for 45 min or 90837 for 60 min), the practice zip code (11238), and that your services are being held via telehealth. Below are specific questions that can support you in that call:

1. What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?

2. What is the reimbursement rate for an out-of-network provider?

3. Do I have a deductible and, if so, what is the amount?

4. What is the allowable coverage amount per therapy session with a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed master social worker?

5. Is telehealth covered by my out-of-network benefits?
